Agua Azul is a 24 unit, 1 & 2 bedroom apartment complex, developed by YES Housing, Inc. and funded by a HUD Section 811 grant, City of Albuquerque Home Funds, and a grant from YES Housing, for individuals and families with disabilities. This property provides a quiet community where its residents have access to an on-site social service coordinator that assists with obtaining public transportation and other individual service needs, organizes resident activities, and assists in the on-site Neighborhood Network Center with computers and internet access. The Chama Apartments are currently being utilized by YDI, Casa Hermosa Program, a transitional living program for youth aging out of foster care. Casa Hermosa provides on-site 24 hour case management for youth who are being transitioned out of foster care and do not possess the skills necessary to live independently. Services include: job skills training, life skills training, educational assistance, job search, conflict resolution, etc. For additional program information visit www.ydinm.org.

The Charleston Apartments is home to the City of Albuquerque – Teen Parent Program. The Teen Parent Resident Program offers housing to 12 homeless or near-homeless teen parents who are either pregnant or parenting a 0-3 aged child. Affordable housing, along with the support of the Early Head Start staff, offers teen parents the opportunity to continue their high school education while focusing on developing their parenting skills. The Teen Parent Resident Program provides trained staff on-site 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
